We spent the last few days fishing the Pickerel river and the water levels are extremely low for this time of year about 7 feet low. The water temps are also warmer due to the water level being low current temp is about 65 degrees about 10 degrees warmer than normal. We were seeing fish suspending at about 30 feet deep in around 50-60 feet of water, and they weren't aggressive on live minnows so the wife and I switched to trolling with Rapalas in 15-20 feet of water depth and running the lures in 10 feet when I hooked into this nice 24" Walleye (Pickerel) and not even 5 minutes later the wife hooked into another 24" fish all in all a great day.
